Overview
Langkawi Island, officially known as Langkawi Permata Kedah, is a tropical paradise located in the Andaman Sea off the northwest coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Part of the Langkawi Archipelago, which consists of 99 islands, Langkawi is famed for its pristine beaches, lush rainforests, and clear turquoise waters. As a designated UNESCO Global Geopark, the island boasts a diverse natural landscape, including limestone karsts, mangroves, and cascading waterfalls.
